Mine rotted away when I started this project. I thought I had enough... The joke goes take your budget and double it and your done..... If that's the case I'm looking at 20k :doah:

Figured I would double post this sense it kind of works here as well.

Exterra is done and out of my hair, just needs a valve cover gasket replaced but that's a hour worth of work if that.

Back to the scheduled mall crawler, just need a tad bit more of grinding on one side of the bracket and I can tack it onto the axle tube. Hopefully get the frame brackets this week and Sunday I can center the axle and get the links cut and tacked together

What do you guys think about this, the 4 link bracket fits on the spring plate and leaves this big of a gap...

Weld it or use a band saw to trim it down some?

It's a big enough gap to stick a finger through. I'm at home for the night but it needs to come down some to fit on the C. If I can't get a band saw i'll use a cutoff wheel and flap disc.

There has got to be a way to just slide it over. It doesn't look like it's as much an issue of going down, as it is an issue of going to that side.

Yes, closer is a must the other side fits perfect good and tacked on. I'll figure this side out, just need to find the correct combination and run with it.

Each and everyone of you help.:D

Having to work tomorrow on my day off so I won't be able to get that bracket fitted until Sunday. On the bright side, the ORD frame brackets are on the way. :thumb:
