I have learned so much it isn't funny.
Stopped off at a hardware store today and bought some PVC pipe, the guy looked at me weird when I asked what the OD was of the pipe. He said it's not measured that way. I told him I was mocking up a pan hard bar for a 4 link of a chevy truck... He gave me a deer in the head lights look.

That's certainly a bit above the head of the average Joe.
Yup got 5 feet of it, more then plenty and will give me plenty to trim off. Hopefully this weekend I can get that figured out and maybe start on the shock hoops.

I hate trying to explain stuff like that to people I don't know.
That is pretty much exactly what happened Glen.
PVC along with all other pipe is measured by the ID for use with flow.
So he wasn't incorrect.....

Wasn't saying he wasn't incorrect, was saying measuring pvc with the outside diameter is wrong, but for my application it was correct.

I'm sure he's had plenty of people make that mistake and come back complaining to him about it. I must admit that I've messed up with copper pipe like that a time or two.
I goofed up in the store, saw inch and a half and grabbed it. Started looking at it and thought man that looks a lot bigger...
Came home sick today, I can't seem to catch a break. I never get sick like this... I think it's my lack of sleeping and excessive working my body. On that note I'm going to take a nap and try to create the pan hard bar.

No time to rest with blazer bash around the corner.
Little update but not much. Didn't co e out the best maybe I can hind it with tons of primer.
Guess now I'm stuck with the Ord mount.

Went to a muffler shop today and they quoted me 550 for a complete aluminium non mandrell bent exhaust with 2 high flow cats and 2 magna flow mufflers.
Seems like a great deal to me. I may not even try welding it myself.

That does sound like a good deal.
The shop does good work to we send all our exhaust work from the dealer.
