methinks you need to be spending every spare moment on this rig with that deadline..

Oh I'm trying to it's coming fast. The biggest set back is painting it and logging drive time to get it going.

I only asked because we picked up a buddy's truck and I figured it wouldn't hurt to see his thoughts.

I told him it has a engine swapped in and a 6.0 He thought I swapped in a powerjoke 6.0 :doah: Maybe I should take it someplace else. :haha:

2.5 inch was hoping you would chime in on this one.

I paid $750 for my system. Mine included dual stainless 2.5" pipe, and the tips. I provided the muffler and the collectors. (No cats) My track bar also complicated things and a lot more bends had to be made.

So what you're getting with 2 mufflers and 2 cats in aluminized is somewhere between a good price and a deal. :deal:

Want the exhaust built for max torque down low, haven't learned exhaust theory yet been working on suspensions.

Ok, back to suspensions. would it be ok if my pan hard was longer then the drag link or would that create bump steer?

If I use the same measurement for the drag link the ord bracket comes 2.5 inches off the frame and in order to cut the bracket, it would leave the bottom open and not have any bracing. I would like to use that bottom bracing to help strength wise.

Same length same angle is optimum. Bump steer is increased if they are not the same length and parallel.

Rebuild or gusset the ORD bracket if needed. The longer the better.

Ideally they would be the same length. A little longer of a panhard would not produce enough bump steer to notice as long as the angles are pretty much the same.

this is the shape of how it will be, this would create the same length. Now for angle that will take some figuring out but I'll leave that be for now.

The bracket will need to be cut like this. The lower gusset plate would be 1 and a 1/4 long.

Yes of course the frame will be plated, I figured I would cut the plate out of a L shaped piece and slide it up if that makes any sense. The bracket will be welded to the frame then the plate welded to the bracket and the frame.

I don't see a problem cutting it like that, I think you're having to mess with it because it's based around our crossover steering.

The angle is much more important than making the panhard and draglink exactly the same length.

Got the pan hard bar on, seems to have worked out real good, Not 100% happy with how the mount looks but I'll see what I can do to fix that up.

Put the axle all the way up and down, 0 bump steer. :thumb: At most it has less then 1/8th of bump steer which I would assume can be corrected by the heims.

Didn't take any pictures of the drivers side all the way up but I maxed it out until something hit the frame.
