Im not advocating against a 10 bolt or frame plating. I was making a jab at a contradiction.
I think this thread is full of them...

Don't worry he thinks this build is just as nutty as the rest of you guys.

I think this thread is full of them...![]()
He thinks the build is as nutty as I think it is?
or He thinks the build is as nutty as we all are?
The grammar could go either way...![]()
Not going to lie grammer isn't my strongest point and it doesn't help I do a lot of posting from my phone.

How so?

I don't care so much about the grammar. I just wanna know whether I'm nutty or just the build.![]()

You're clearly taking the time to make sure things are done satisfactorily, and yet you're also trying to get the truck done on a tight schedule. I don't understand how you hope to finish quickly without compromising quality (maybe you work faster than I do).
And you've changed your mind a bunch. "Let's go this way...let's go that way...let's go some other random third way." I'm confident you'll end up with an awesome rig, but I'm also confident you'll be changing your mind several more times before you get to that point.
Either way...the thread has been quite fun to read. Redoing the front in tubing is quite a novel idea for me and my stock street rigs.![]()
One and done is the object, this will be my only lifetime rebuild and I want it done right and the way I want it. Safety is a major concern of mine sense I want to drive it like Chevy intended. The randomness is me planning multiple attacks but looking for the safest and best way. To be honest with you I didn't know what I was getting myself into, before I started I didn't know how to use a grinder or a welder.... I took on a big project with a very strict goal. With the help of friends I have been able to accomplish what I have done.
I doubt the truck will make it to Moab but hey a guy can hope.

I'm quite confident that your truck, when complete, will not be what Chevy originally intended in their stock design...
Can't speak for others, but I'm proud of what you've accomplished, and I keep up with reading through this thread because the ideas floating through here are really neat. I can't wait to see what lies ahead!![]()
So, looks like I don't need this. Want it?
Why was the MAF sensor eliminated?

Thats certainly not the norm. Wonder what the reasoning is behind it. Seems like a good thing to have.

Speed density is better for turbos.
Sounds good k85 let me know.
