What are your specs for a truck?
If you don't mind find a little out about it. I have cash in hand waiting.
Kind of leaving to a 2500. Just tired of having saggy half ton springs on a truck and I like the option of towing the mall crawler on long trips. Would kind of like a gas engine because I know the engine.
It does look good though. And he built it as a daily driver pavement pounder.2500hd 4x4 dmax crew cab. Not sure of the year or miles. Used it to tow his 3000 pound boat for fishing.
He also has a nice 70 k5 that he just finished on 20'sIt does look good though. And he built it as a daily driver pavement pounder.

Just out of curiosity whats the story behind the saggy half ton springs? I keep seeing you throw that comment out there and the way i read it everytime is that a half ton truck cant handle what your dishing out to it. Ive put some half tons thru the ropes before and done things a half ton shouldnt be doing but i have never wore springs out in the manner that im interpreting you are saying you do. So what is it exactly your doing to these trucks in your experience to go thru leaf springs? Got any pics example pics of something super sketchy? Were you pulling a low boy and a d9 with a half ton or what? Haha or maby i am just mis interpreting the context
I blame the seasons.
This time of year when the weather is cold and bleak, I catch myself posting stuff that's just a bit more "edgy" or "intolerant" than I do at other times of the year......I find myself going back to edit recent posts to take some of the "jerk" out of them.
If I were being complete self-aware, I'd probably say that it was from my own frustrations about not working in the shop on my own junk lately. I want to see SOMEBODY making progress so that I can feed off that energy and find some motivation for myself.
In the dead of winter, I'd bet that everyone is just getting antsy... Give it about 60 days and this site is going to be bustling with progress and build thread updates from everyone, and I'll betcha the attitudes will all be a lot more positive too....

Why not do air bags to prevent the Cali lean when towing? You could buy a 1/2 ton and cruise around for a while then install the bags when you're ready to tow your truck around. You'd get better mileage and a more comfortable ride. Besides you can't throw a rock without hitting a chevy 1/2 ton so there's plenty to choose from.It didn't help I leveled the front end and with a load the front end would get light being nose high.
