Run the saddle tank as is and then do the burb tank at a later date.
Btw there might not be any rust but I'm betting that gas is bad. Please dump it out and use fresh stuff.
It potentially could be next weekend. Not sure if I want to fire it open header though. Is it safe? I see people doing it all the time.![]()

This is the inside of the tank, it looks good to go to me!

Now, do I swap to a burb tank or not... If I do the swap that means I will cut the bed and relocate the fuel filler. I don't want a hokis pokis fuel filler, I want it to look factory.
I might just wait anyway. The thing should be going down the road in a month.![]()
I would use the 40 gallon burb tank. The front fender to the rear tires would be a slider. And the exhaust would exit in the bed side before the rear tire. If I run a saddle tank it would be a goofy slider and have to wrap around the tank. I would rather just have the tank in the rear.

Hey Brandon, the girlfriend can't make it to the bash.you should friend request her on Facebook.

Alright guys, help me decide on the gas tank or not. I really like the idea of the extra 20 gallons a d full length slider and the race bed side exhaust. But is it worth it in the long run?
The hardest part will be a fuel filler.
