Yes that is a alignment shim falling out, it's so worn out it spits shims.

3 years ago today I turned the first nut to build this. Didn't think it would take this long but I also didn't think I was going long travel either....:haha:
 
I knew about it but had no idea how it was made or how much fun it is.

This was supposed to be a simple ls swap on factory 4x4 springs and using my good 31 inch tall tires.

They taste a little bit gamier than normal farm fresh eggs (both are noticeably different from typical store eggs)

Just about the whole population of Carney lives next to the tracks. They were in our back yard until we moved (recently).

You should come up to visit sometime! :popcorn:

That's not OCD....

Unless you are sitting in the corner rocking back-and-forth in the fetal position and unable to function I would say that doesn't qualify as OCD. What you have there is a simple case of regret.

No rocking in the corner so I guess you are correct on your statement. It doesn't bother me to much.
 
So sense this build has been going on for what seems forever, I have lost parts on the way.

I need a brake pedal assembly, Shawn has a donor k5 in his back yard I ripped apart today and connected to the bracket is some type of module, It looks like it's held in with self tapping hex head bolts. Does anyone know what this is? I'm assuming it's the cruise Module? It's about 7 inches long and 4.5 wide. I don't remember my truck having this from the factory.

The description is fairly vague at this point.
 
Unfortunately I didn't take any, it sits on the right side of th brake pedal bracket and has a wiring connector.
 
Does the brake pedal even have a module on these? That is the biggest question, if it doesn't then I don't need it.

It's to big to be a switch, unless one is 7x5 inches.
 
My cruise control was in the front towards the seat. attached to the brake pedal. The TH400 is actually on the gas pedal so that would not be it.
 
Still don't know what it is but almost positive I don't need it.Tomorrow is getting working brakes so I'll take a peek under the dash to find the connector
