The trans pan gasket has seeped a bit, has a crap gasket on it but the transfer case front input has a bad seal.

I think tomorrow I'll try dropping the pan and reseating the trans side, if the tangs are broke then it's $200 to replace the harness with a tcc solenoid

I have always just changed parts before this.

They are not much fun in heavy stop and go big city traffic. Have had my share in muscle cars and loved them, still do.

Just need a doubler in those cases. I can sit in stop and go traffic in 2wd double low and never have to hit the brakes.
