A chart of different tranny options. So far you've found the sucky option, the blow-up option, the grenading option, and the leaky option.
You just need to find one that isn't so problematic.
Only other options I have are 4l80e or Allison if I want my ecm to control the trans.

The 4l80e would obviously be the logical choice. I wonder if your ecm is partly to blame for this? Maybe the wiring is jumbled up somewhere or has an intermittent fault?
