That should have been plenty to flush it. Weren't you running it for a bit without a cooler or was that just an aux one you hadn't added in yet.

Think and admitting to builder are 2 different things
Sent him a text with a little more diag behind the wheel and admitting it's my fault and also asked for a bill cause it sounds like a the cooler wasn't flushed. Two transmissions same diag, you can only go so far with the same reasons.

I couldn't fit it behind the grille and wanted to drive it ran it straight to the rad on the 4th trans.

Sorry for this dumb question, but
do you use any compressed air to blow the junk out of the cooler?
I just start with very small bursts.

Always pull the lines off of the cooler and flush the cooler and lines separately. Paint thinner and compressed air are your friends. I always pour some through each and watch how it comes out the other end. In a clear container so I can see that it is clean.

I did pull the lines off each time and ran the cans straight to the radiator and into a bucket and they were clean by the time it was done....

I'm not sure, don't really get it.

Sprags break from burnouts usually and letting off really quick.. so that rear end blowing up, ls power, your right foot, lack of fluid, not slowing down and taking time to make double sure you got it filled.. dude you need checklists. I think that will help.
But at least you know what happened.

A checklist wouldn't have made a difference, and the burnouts was a long time ago and I have made sure everytime it was full. I babied the last trans and took my time...

I seriously thought I pushed enough cleaner through it sense it came out clear both ways.

cleaning a second time is not worth it, B
grab a new external cooler and new TC, get a fan for the cooler and wire it key hot
don't have the money?
sit and wait till you do
at least, that's after the trans is repaired
:D

New cooler is sitting in my closet waiting to be wired up and mounted. It's just a tad to big to go behind the grille.

Do you still have your condenser in front of the cooling radiator? Otherwise that will fit. I'm fairly sure mine is as big depthwise as this one and I have about 1" before I hit the radiator. Ya gotta tuck it into the area where the condenser was.

Not yet but someday I will, I'm going to mess with it when I get time and try to squeeze it in.

That cooler you have can go anywhwere. The key is to have air moving. With the fan on it, it could be mounted by the frame under the bed. Just not near the exhaust.
