There is honestly something they call the bathtub curve, in short is shows that the potential for failure of a part is high at the outset and tapers down to a pretty flat bottom then rises as it approaches the "practical" limit of it's life.

Go put some gas in the truck and head out for a hundred miles tonight and tomorrow morning. If it's all good then you have above average chances that it's all good. Think about the amount of miles until failure your other transmissions have gone. Not much huh, go drive.

I understand your hesitancy, but I think you can do it, especially with them lucky balls, if you sneak them out and play your cards right you might get some tonight after you get back from driving your truck. Best day EVER.:ignore:

This does sound like a great idea, but I need to do a bit of work before I leave. I told my buddy we could drive out together sense we both were looking forward too it.
 
Decided on the way home driving the tahoe out is a better idea.


The truck needs to prove itself before I do something like this, I don't want to risk not making the race. Been working all day and working at night sense last Monday trying to get ready and move my brothers house. I'm tired and taking the night off, will kick back have a few beers and enjoy the weekend trouble free.
 
Might not be the popular vote but I agree Ben. Take a minute let it be back together for a little while. There's always another chance to break it later on. Just give it a chance to know it runs for a few days before trying to force it again.

That's is my thinking but after two beers Ben thinks go out to the garage and wire the fan up and drive it 3 hours away.
 
If it's been good, roll out to the fwy and run it 25 miles and see what happens if it doesn't do weird crap it's likely it'll be fine.. run it

Gayyyyyy! I was hoping to see this thing actually on the road for longer then 20 miles... probably the smart choice, but so much hate ha :cool:
