I think you need to add a PV either way. The front calipers and lines sizes are still different in your truck versus the one the axle and MS are from.
You may need one - but you still have to either gut that factory combo valve or get one of the ones that's already gutted.
Couldn't I just replace it with a adjustable One? By combo valve you mean prop valve right? Just so we are on the same page.
There's a good pic in there - you really want to gut the front and back halves of that. The front has a slight delay mechanism in it also.. Or just replace w/ an empty one... Mine wouldn't come apart after all these years. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-760185
Here's a good vid on these.
Inline tube makes a rear disc proportioning valve. It's kinda spendy. I picked up one, no comment on how it works yet. But it must be good, my blazer hasn't moved in over a year haha!

Thanks for the links guys, I briefly searched and tried to do it cheap... Looks like I will be gutting it first and then if needed I'll buy the Willwood valve. Or I will just buy it anyway when I do new pads and rotors.
With blazer bash coming around the corner I made a list of everything I want to have done... I estimated about $2800 in hard cash...

How many of us run the stock system with fine results.

No I drive it around town, and drove it to Moab for three years with the same set up, tires smaller but same everything else.
It nose dives on the brakes, weird feel the rear doesn't have much. I would rather dial it in then feel ok about it. Safety is a big concern of mine.
Put about 100 miles on it tonight. I suddenly feel like I need more power but content with it. I have way to much fun hot rodding it around. 300hp to the ground doesn't seem like a lot but it moves... I hear it is though?
Been thinking about the interior a lot lately. I Feel the factory dash doesn't have what I need. I want to add multiple 7+ inch displays and have switches and buttons available...
I have thought about the diy4x dash but it doesn't have what I want or the look.

Along with two suspension seats, I wanted to keep the bench for hauling my nieces and nephews along but the truck is headed to where a cage and harness is going to be needed....

Naaaa, will always be a full bodied truck. I'm thinking more of on board dish, gps and overland movies and such..
