Kinda hard to tell exactly what you have going on w/ the brackets.. However, the one w/ the cuts in it could be compromised. Those would be stress risers and a good place for cracks to form.

Weld it to the floor with many stacks of quarters
My plan is to weld them shut and add gussets. All i have is a vise, body weight and a framing hammer to shape them lol.

This seat mount sucks, it isn't right and needs to be redone... Man I suck so bad at Fab work.
That is how you learn. If somebody shows you every step, you will never get past the design process on your own.

To high, not ridgid enough, not able to get all the bolts in, welded to hit and has pin holes, and the seat doesn't slide enough forward and back. I think the square tube did more harm then good.
On the good side for the first time ever I have been able to see the entire guages. I was supposed to drive this 3.5 hours Thursday or Friday night but I think the tahoe sounds like a better plan. To many leaks, not enough money and the seats are not correct.
Because i was upset I went and beat on it... This is with a burnout and wheel hop...
Don’t be discouraged man! Cut it off made the adjustments and weld it back up! Sometimes it takes 2-3 times or more before you get it right..
I am on adjustment number 3 for my seat setup in the blazer. Cut it out and welded it in again closer and more gangsta lean.
I'm almost tempted to scrape the entire thing and just run tube and get some tube tabs for the mounts...
