I like sitting up higher in my seats. I'm almost too high now tho because my foot isn't quite as comfortable as I'd like on the gas pedal. I also added a couple of "feet" in the middle, basically where the inside of the seat sliders are on the frame. That way there are 4 attachment points for both seats. A have also changed the angle and height of mine a couple of times. With fixed high back seats in a pickup cab you are going to be limited on the amount of slider travel you can get.

As is right now it's a pain to get out from under the wheel. If I didn't have the hump in the floor it would be much easier.

I can’t wait to get to the “every day is an adventure” stage in life.

Every day is a new adventure because you can't remember anything from the past. Even though you are doing the same thing as you did the day before. And the one before that, and so on.

Pretty sure that’s what his employer says as well about him..

It's the seats, not the position of them. Suspension seats and non removable steering wheels create issues. I think several of the seat manufacturers make what they call the "daily driver" which has lower side bolsters. Suspension seats are comfy to sit in but aren't meant for a vehicle that you get into and out of a lot.

You can make things a bit easier by lowering the seats but then you can't see as well over the hood, also good sliders work ok but tend to get sand and crap in them and then they don't work well. blah blah blah

Yes the big old factory wheel gets in the way. I bought Brent's old PRP daily driver seats out of s10 and using the PRP seat sliders. I just used the wrong bolts on the sliders...

Tonight I'm topping off the fluid stocking up the box with tools and hitting the road for a 200 mile road trip to Laughlin for the RAGE AT THE RIVER race.... If you guys remember last year I thought about taking it but the trans was just brand new. This year I'm going for it, the trans has about 1400 miles on it and was flawless in MOAB for blazer bash.

Have a safe trip
Thanks man, tired of not being able to drive this thing the way I want to. Never going to know if it works if I don't go for it. Mechanically it's sound just leaks fluid... I'll bring extra fluid and just hit the road, worst case I have a trailer in Laughlin and I'll have someone bring my Tahoe instead of their vehicle.
