Well... I think it’s supposed to be dry actually. LolTcase is back together ran out of rtv to glue it back together...
How much fluid is ok to have between the trans and the case? Mine dumped maybe half a quart, was this just cause the truck sat for a few weeks? Everytime I drive it and park it there would be a puddle under it.
That's what I hear... What seal am I going to need? All I hear about is some o ring on the 60eWell... I think it’s supposed to be dry actually. Lol
Either the input seal on the 241 or whatever the 60 has? I’m not familiar with them. That's what I hear... What seal am I going to need? All I hear about is some o ring on the 60e
Yeah let’s find a better word than “boom”...I think I found it, need to pull the rear housing off the trans and boom.
Love you?Above picture is with the rear housing off Google was misleading.
I think this is my truck telling me a 4 letter word by a 3 letter word to drive it more often.
Love you?
Find!2nd word is right haha, first one starts with a f
I read this in a pirate voice .Arhhhg why can’t this stuff not break ever?
I don't remember there being an output seal on the trans at all, I know that neither the TH350 or 700R4 has one, the 4L60E shouldn't be any different.
There is a big arse o'ring on the adapter that "should", theoretically, keep the fluid from leaking out like you are describing. It would fit into the first groove right next to the six bolt holes in your above pic.
