Had a ton of motivation over the weekend to get the tcase but feeling sick now.
Applied to be a field engineer with a construction company with hope of being a super intendent or project manager some day. Have been through two interviews, a test and a paragraph so far and was told today I needed to complete another 30 min test and will have another interview.

Made a few emails to salvage yards off car-part for a new tcase.

Yes that is correct, even using my dealership email to try and locate it.
Have you tried a local yard to have them acquire it. I have bought a lot of parts off east coast yards thru a local yard.

I'm looking for a cheap core I can mix and match the good parts, then fully rebuild one and keep the mix match as a backup spare.

Never bought it, found a better way to keep the 241 and have a spare. Just not finding the yard willing to ship one to me yet.
Find a brother near the yard that has one and have him ship it to you.
I thought about that, I really just started emailing these yards a few days ago. I'll see how this turns out first then put the word out.

Sucks to get the run around. If you can't ship them until next week just say so.
It's more of a distance thing, they just don't want to deal with shipping across the United States.
