Sorry for the poor explanation... just take 3 inches of the chain and push it together. You will see movement in the links if it is worn. A transmission shop owner told me this when i was rebuilding the T/c for my daughters Trailblazer.

Btw... it should more than likely have been replaced but I called it good. And It has been fine!
 
Rock Auto has a USA standard gear chain in stock. Anyone know the quality of the company?

I'm going to try the above method tomorrow.
 
It will get a shifter just didn't want to mess with one to redo it later especially sense it goes into 4wd a couple times a year.
 
What turbo is it?
H1E it's a 60/64 I hope it isn't too small, I want it to spool rather quick and not have to much big end. I just hope it doesn't choke out. If it spooled at 1700 I would be happy. What are your thoughts?
