That’s how you know you can drive it there and backNo tow rig and spent all the funds on a badass ass trans.
I would rather ride with someone then drive it that far. That’s how you know you can drive it there and back
While I have to remember that it's your decision, I will ask that you remember how @4door99 has driven his with an old tired engine and transmission. Your drivetrain is in better shape. Hell, @Bent77 used to drive the old '72 over the passes on I-70 to get to Moab, both are about 10K elevation, with a decent grade. You just have to climb up to Flagstaff, which is less steep. Take your time and don't try to do a Cannonball thing, and I would bet that it would be a great ride.I would rather ride with someone then drive it that far.
After doing some aggressive driving I feel a lot better in the seat.Going to real off-road seats has made my rig much more enjoyable for me and my passengers.
Ok well rust reformer and then por15. There isn’t even rust there. It’s just brown stained paint. Sand/wire to bare steel and move on.Por15 is a bandaid? I know the only true answer is cutting it out and welding in new but do I really need to?
Grinder with a wire cup. Por15, sound deadener and new carpet.
Case closed.
Lol. It’s junk. Give up on it.Cab swap
