I don't remember - what accessory arrangement are you using?
Stock ls with a heavy duty fan clutch.I don't remember - what accessory arrangement are you using?
My G8 has a different arrangement, but had the problem of popping belts off of the a/c when dropping off the accelerator from high rpm. The cause was a weak tensioner. A redesigned part was released for the Australian market, and fixed my problem. Wouldn't be bad to double check the tensioner arm to make sure that's still up to stuff.
I replaced mine and was disappointed. The new one doesn't have as much movement as the old one so it's harder to get the belt on and off, and honestly it doesn't feel like the spring is as strong as it should be.It's the truck style, I wouldn't be surprised if the tensioner is old. I have been meaning to replace it...
Mine was surprisingly easy to move. It's on the list and I'll use this as a trail spare.I replaced mine and was disappointed. Smoked as in missing on that corner? Yes...are your cab body mounts smoked?
Smoked as in missing on that corner? Yes...

The nut spun in the cab and everything just fell out. The passenger side needs new nuts welded in. I thought about hole sawing through the floor and using rubber plugs with silicone for future removal.haha yes that will do it too![]()

Nope.... but I have never had a four link front suspension with a straight axle!Looking and crawling over the truck today it's looking pretty sad....
Loose bolts and things not aligned again. Does anyone else feel their truck is like a full blown racecar and need attention all the time???
Use locknut's or Nord washers or prevailing torque locknuts on high vibration components. Then use a paint pen and Mark the nuts for quick visual reference.
I'm saying that not knowing what you already used, but if fasteners are loose the stuff you are using isn't doing it's job very well.
