If you don’t cut it, there’s much less successDon't want to cut the bed any, also not very good at body work
Besides, with all the other mods on the truck, why is the bed some religious piece of livestock?

So if you don't cut the bed at all, I don't see how you can install a filler neck. It either has to go through the floor, or through the bedside. I installed a hidden filler on my '70 and still had to build a box on the inside of the bed to gain space. My '72 has a door in the bedside and still required a tunnel on the inside of the bed.Don't want to cut the bed any, also not very good at body work
I will cut the bed for a access door, but I want to retain the bed space. I want to be able to sleep in the back with gear, go to home depot and pick up sheets of plywood. Basically truck things.
Any reason why? I'll check out your build and look at the pictures.my 74 has the fill neck through the floor however it’s against the bedside and out of the way. Doesn’t limit what I can or can’t do with the truck. However I won’t cut a inspection panel for the pump, not on this truck anyway.

I like it, I wonder if you could run it to the top of the bed rail inside and put one of those pop up fuel fillers?
5/8" is the size of the hose that connects to the filler neck. It's a vent for filling not the vent that would normally run to the evap canister. Thanks for the heads up, is 5/8ths the go to for a breather size? Is it just a filter on the end of the breather?

I talked to somebody there a couple of weeks ago. I needed a neck I had bought previously. Said the same thing then. They were not ready for the order load.5/8" is the size of the hose that connects to the filler neck. It's a vent for filling not the vent that would normally run to the evap canister.

To add a little more info to thisThe Blazer tanks use 1-3/4" filler hose which also seems to be less common. You can find tons of stuff for 1-1/2" or 2".
I have to turn the handle sideways to fill my truck right now.To add a little more info to this
EFI K5 tanks use 1.75", carb K5 tanks are smaller (1.5" IIRC). The 1.5" suck for filling, you have to babysit the pump as it will keep shutting off.
A brand new tank can be easily turned into a 2" filler with a little exhaust tubing I'm sure. As long as there's bed clearance. The Blazer tanks use 1-3/4" filler hose which also seems to be less common. You can find tons of stuff for 1-1/2" or 2".
