It has one but this truck belongs in the dirt.Ehh.. put one of these on and send it.
It'll stop squirrels and nun chunks from getting in there at least.

Anyway to make a new bracket to move the SC out enough to clear, or it's way too far? Here is the current bracket that isn’t going to work with the air filter facing forward to the grille. The new bracket has the air filter facing towards the rear of the truck.
Yes, it will just have to extend out to the passenger fender roughly 5 inches to mount a air filter next to the radiator.Anyway to make a new bracket to move the SC out enough to clear, or it's way too far?

So he should buy a matching set, right? What rocker arm ratio you choose with that cam depends on your cylinder heads....![]()

I wish I could swing it right now, but I literally just put the heads back on and have 10 mins of run time on it.So he should buy a matching set, right?

What do you recommend? What rocker arm ratio you choose with that cam depends on your cylinder heads....![]()
It would have to go in closer and it already hits my big ass trans cooler.I vote modify the rad support to push the rad out far enough for a tight elbow. Keep the SC belt as short as possible.
Wouldn't think it'd be too hard![]()

I'll add, unless you have zero plans to upgrade heads, then upgrade the rocker arms. But if you might upgrade the heads some day, then I would wait. For the factory heads, 1.7 rockers, Harland Sharp, Howards, Comp Cams, are all good.
Although with stock heads to be honest I think I would just wait until you can do both.
I want to upgrade the heads, I'm just leery of the factory rocker arm bearings.I'll add, unless you have zero plans to upgrade heads, then upgrade the rocker arms. But if you might upgrade the heads some day, then I would wait.
The problem is the supercharger spins ccw not cw like the engine so brackets are limited.Would the supercharger fit up where the alternator is now? There must be at least a few different accessory bracket options.
Do I need to upgrade rockers?I'll add, unless you have zero plans to upgrade heads, then upgrade the rocker arms. But if you might upgrade the heads some day, then I would wait.
We discussed that and heads a while back and then since the intake was the only thing left to upgrade to LS3 rect port it snowballed and then you decided to just hold off, no problem.Do I need to upgrade rockers?
I’m not really nice to this engine so I’m concerned with how high it’s been known to spin.Do I need to upgrade rockers?
Sorry, I just skimmed through. I thought the bracket was just putting it backwards, but you were trying it intentionally. The problem is the supercharger spins ccw not cw like the engine so brackets are limited.
