It’s got more power then it ever has, it likes 40 degrees of timing, @folkenheath hit the tune pretty good off the rip but I have done zero data logging and have not looked at the closed loop comp.If you got it….Use it!
By the seat of the pants it runs good, has a bit of an exhaust leak on the passenger bank the o2 doesn’t like idle… I’m hoping I don’t have to get one tomorrow but don’t care I’ll run it anyway…That means it needs more stall speed by the wayFor everyone wondering it’s begging for boost now. It has some surge at idle with light brake pedal pressure it moves forward on the lope.

Going to try and do both, I brought my laptop with me. Just no tools.Delete the learn table at low RPM, and maybe turn off the learning at low rpm until you get it fixed. Or just fix it.
I got tools coming and trying to get a exhaust flange gasket. If its real bad you might want to turn off closed loop at low RPM too.
Hey man,Just did the bow tie, I kinda like it. Can’t find and aftermarket one to fit the lmc grill.

I wrapped it with the same as the body. I bought one but it didn’t fit the pre drilled holes.Hey man,
Saw your updates on Instagram, somehow i missed this build. Looks killer.
I'm putting my 91 back together after paint, and bought a cheap grill that didn't come with bowtie. Should have just bought the full kit one
My aftermarket one doesn't look like the same recess as the factory one. And the 91 factory style bowtie is like $100.
So i'm dealing with the same issue. Did you just paint the center of it? Or did you get one to fit?
We'll see if i can get my old one off the grill and stuck on somehow....
Thanks!

I think the distance is the problem assuming you don't have a small pump helping circulation and it being low, gravity is not helping.Got to drive the truck a bit, even though I shouldn't with the o2 going all over the place. The trans cooler doesn't like being under the bed, it is building way to much heat, I saw 250 on the gauge.![]()
Same distance before, it's level with the trans. I think it's just not getting enough air passed it, I need to hook the fan up and take it for a drive.I think the distance is the problem assuming you don't have a small pump helping circulation and it being low, gravity is not helping.
Heat likes to go up, so if you have it higher than the transmission that alone promotes circulation
You definitely want the fan hooked up if it doesn't have the engine airflow like in front. You could hook the fan up to a relay and trigger it with the ECU, so it only turns on once above a certain trans temp. Also, make sure there is enough space for the air to get through the other side of the trans cooler.Same distance before, it's level with the trans. It's got a few inches between the bed floor and fins but it's tight being the fan is so large. You definitely want the fan hooked up if it doesn't have the engine airflow like in front. I have a fan on mine, no way is it going to keep your trans cool without one unless it's in the airflow in front of the radiator. I use trans line temp to trigger mine and I never see temps over 150 in the pan.You definitely want the fan hooked up if it doesn't have the engine airflow like in front.
