Here is the cooler I have but without the fan.

It should be more than enough but it isn’t.

The fan I have on it is this one from my previous cooler.

Why did you swap fans? The 13870 is what I have mounted under the passenger side of the cab outside the frame rail and it keeps my trans cool. You can see it in this picture when I was building the H-pipe.

The fan is a puller, so it's sucking cool air up by the ground and blowing it out the top.

the transcooler I bought didn’t come with the fan, I just posted the one with the fan. I reused the old fan I had and mounted it to it. I have mine on the inside of the rails near the driveshaft.

It has less than a half inch gap from the fan and cooler. Not ideal should be lower…

Pulled the plugs and put new ones in, no more popping out the exhaust and sent the newest tune I created and a log file to Heath.

Truck seems to be running really well, wish I could figure out the cooler situation for the trans. It's a little warm today. I also was bored and downloaded app to see what it would do it the qtr mile, I'm not going to lie I chicken footed it to a 16.7 at almost 90 mph, not bad for a 5000lb truck on 35's and a 4L slippy...

Back to making it look nice, I'll be messing with the interior some.

No idea yet... Before I could run it right it destroyed the "built:rolleyes:" trans, and I had to baby it when I put the stocker back in. Was a 14.1 with the old motor which was essentially an iron block LS3 with a mid size cam in it.
Maybe mid 500's HP on that one:thinking::dunno:

Now I won't know till spring:notworthy:

Is $400 for a used column a good deal? It’s a tilt and correct year and tight. I would completely rebuild it.

If it's all correct and tight, I'd buy it and run it.
Rebuild it when it needs it :dunno:
Probably aren't going to find the right one any cheaper.

Seems a bit expensive to me, but that's my area. And I haven't looked for the 1st series of 4 speed auto tilt column, so I may not have a good perspective on those.
