Will stop at the local squarebody store and pick out a few pieces I need to fancy this thing back together.

Unboxing stuff you have had for a long time sure is fun. Switch panel.
It’s about to get crazy with the interior and then everyone will realize why it took so long. It’s making my head hurt, so much stuff going on.
Interior is blown apart. Had to mess with a power probe and remember what I did with the wiring harness. So glad I bought the one with extra circuits. It will make adding stuff on like the creature comforts much easier. It’s like a 1982 Silverado meets 2026 Silverado when I will be done.

Plan of attack is run all the modules and ecm behind to seat on a bulk head. red mahogany(dads favorite hard word)piece that will go between 6x9’s. It will house the ecm, power and ground bars the ecm the amp for the speakers and an inverter. I’ll also do an aircraft connector for rock lights and misc items for the switch panel on the dash. Sound deadner, head liner all the carpet and plastic pieces. Ordering an and Tran tunnel and will make a piece of removable carpet and tunnel to get to the top bolts of the tcase for easy access. Putting usb cables for the Holley ecm, to plug in the laptop along with charge cables for phones and a I pad. I pad will be mounted to the passenger side along with the Holley handheld so they can monitor stuff and nav.
All that rust you need to give it to me so I can throw it away for you!
But seriously, I had a couple of spots in my truck like that and it was pretty easy to straighten. got some 16ga sheet from home despot cheap. Tin snips to make a filler and tack it in. Floors aren't all that big of a deal for warpage, they're thicker and under carpet if you do.

Is there any cracks in the metal?
Check the underside as well.
If you get floor pans and rocker panels, you can just cut back to solid metal or wherever its an easier placement to make a seam, and that may be where the oem seam is.

No cracks, it’s honestly not that bad…
I also forgot on that list is a parking brake lever where I can slide it and use it as a parking brake. Will be next to the tcase and automatically lock the rear… a posi will come into play I hope where I can push and pull it to lock and unlock a tire.
The old girl is gonna party if she already didn’t. Boost will come in 2026 already looking at stuff but don’t know where it will land. Goal is to have it all together for blazer bash.
Extension harnesses came in, I expected better quality but they will work just fine. My only gripe is they didn’t use the same loom as Holley and all the colors are the same.

It will always go in the dirt, just not like I have wheeled it previously. Eventually I will build another truck that I can take out on the rocks and do dumb stuff with.
I still have one goal for this truck left in moab, take it across the golden crack and up the waterfall near it. (butt scratcher)
