Filler pieces painted, I’m so over painting but it’s all I can do right now.

I want to make a screw in cover here, it will have the usb plugs going to the Holley and dash so I don’t have to mess with the can connector, will have charge ports for electronics as well and I would like to do a 110v plug but it might get busy.

Just realized I want to paint the frame and engine bay as well. 
I don’t remember doing this to the original build from 2010-2015!
I guess once you sort it out and make it reliable making it pretty is harder then the fab and updating it to modern tech

Thought I had it clean but I didn’t. I’ll let it dry and start sanding away. I was rushing it to get on a call, my bad I'm not a painter...

Found a red scotch brite and a clay bar makes me a ok painter. It has cleared up those areas a lot!

Btw it’s pretty cool having my own garage, I can do what ever I want. Sand, shoot a really thin layer, go in the ac drink a beer and wait for it to dry. Go back and see if I need to repeat. As dumb as this sounds I’m actually saving paint…

Finished painting in the cab, I’ll paint the ash tray and doors off the truck but it’s done. Going to start assembling the interior tomorrow.

Made way over to my brothers house where I have been stashing stuff for awhile.
Here is the next project, overhead console. Although I think I can modify the install a little and not have to do any cutting like he did. I think a few sheet metal screws in will hold it just fine. I'm not going to be putting much of anything in it. unless someone says it isn't good enough?

All that needs trimmed to mount flush to the head lined.
So much room for activities. I now see why guys take the doors off in Moab.
Great now that the doors are off I’m like it would be easy to pull the fenders to paint the back side of them.
