Put the full doors on it and gave it a wash for the first time since I’ve owned it. There was a crazy amount of grinding dust on the roof, haha. I really need to get some tubes going in the back. Looks empty back there

I like the look with the full doors.

Funny I used to wheel a Landcruiser ,the openness of no doors and roof off was great. But getting whipped in the face and the occasional eyeball with branches made me really appreciate a full cab!

I like a full cab with full doors so I can family wheel all year.

I do wish I had a set of half doors for certain occasions though.

I recentered some H1’s to Rockwell pattern with rock rings, new o-rings and the valve stems rebuilt with some newer parts. Will get PVC inserts later

With metal prices what they are, sometimes you gotta make things work. I was gonna use round tube for the pinion brake guards, but I had a bunch of 2” square tubing laying around already so decided to use that instead. I still like how it turned out though

I kinda like square tube. Plus I think it fits the "squarebody" moniker.

On my bed project I've been digging thru our drop steel piles a lot.

The more I look at it, the more I like the square tube for these...they look beef

Yeah, when we moved from CO to ID, I brought a crap ton of scrap steel from past projects with us. My wife asked why the freak I was bringing all that with us...well....a couple years later and that has proved to save me hundreds of dollars on this build as most all the steel I've used has come from that stash.

However, I'm going to have to sack up and buy some round tube here soon to start the exo-cage/back-half...not looking forward to that.

The only thing that sucks about scrap steel is when it's been outside and the rust has to be removed.
