1985 D30 M1008 BUILD 52s/37s

Ya lets hope the beads stay together

Why not find a set of 6.75" wide rims with safety beads?

Remember Baker's troubles with stupid wide 16.5" wheels and narrow military tires?

Yeah, I don't know that the longer shackle, and mount moving is necessary.

I would try without moving the mount first.

Martin

My front body mounts were swapped side for side (all three pieces still riveted to each other).

It originally had stock shackles, in the stock location.

I switched to a set of ORD FUSH's, so I moved them ahead, and ran a longer shackle.

I didn't notice any difference.

I already have the new shackle mount. Basically diy4x's version of the ORD FUSH I could always just mount them in stock location and see what the shackle angle does with stocks and the 7.25s

I like the swapping side for side idea better than separating. Thanks

The shackle angle in that write up looks like it should have good range. How long of shackle are you running on the k5?

They are powder coated nicely so I probably will for now
