1986 GMC 3+3 dually build.- cummins swap.. Round 2, 2024 update.

Thanks for the replys, and yeah man that is a very long reach. Do you guys that have it find it annoying? Truck isn't a daily so leaning towards the cable for price vs buying a new solenoid and then a starter solenoid as well plus wiring.

I like things mechanical.
I am changing my 98 suburban to manual tcase I am tired of the electric not working all the time

Hey folks, just checking in here planning out my winter ideas for the dually. I had a panhard bar on it last time and it seemed to really stiffen up the steering/chassis. Curious who has tossed on some type of swaybar set up off some other truck ? Its a 2wd frame, converted, so probably easier to just make something work instead of try and get a k30 sway bar on there.

I just want to control the steering make it less sloppy and bouncy. Might go with panhard or maybe just a new swaybar, thoughts?

Sway bar won’t really help make it less sloppy. It’ll control body roll though. I’d do a pan hard bar if it were me.
