1986 K5 Blazer

Changed the pinstripe with black instead of white. Looks good, how did you do that?

You know I never second guessed that. Did it not? I posted the SPID a few posts up
I just never seen a 86 with one. Could very well came that way

Not even sure that a 12 bolt is better than a 10 but lots of guys will argue.
I think the 12 is better to have just because 90% of people will say it is.

Not that it is or isn’t...:haha:

It did not come factory with a 12 bolt.

Makes sense. I’m so used to 67-72 stuff a 12 bolt looks normal. Crazy how factory the install was, every mount and line looks original.

Unfortunately I pulled the $400 pinstripe from Vastines Paint Garage and installed a Phoenix Graphics one. Not super impressed by the quality of vinyl compared to the other one but it looked much better

gorgeous rig, Can't believe i hadn't heard of Restore a Muscle Car in Lincoln, but i'm on the other end of the state. I'll have to check it out sometime.

looks great from here!

Sorry, are you saying you think the quality of the new pinstripe is better or worse?

Quality of the new one form Phoenix Graphics is not near as good as the Vastines one.

What is the width of the new pin-stripe? Considering adding pin-stripe to mine

When you get a chance, can you check the measurement? I dont currently have a pin-stripe on my truck.

Now the reason there hasnt been many updates. Recently we moved back into town and unfortunately downsized houses and garages. Decided that wasn’t gona work out so the blazer is getting a winter house built for it in the back yard.
