1986 M1008 Rebuild

Here it is when I bought it this fall.

And this is after a lift I pulled of a 84 k20 that I parted out.

I have been collecting doubler, tires, crossover & hydro assist parts, but still need a bunch more parts:doah:

I will leave it like it is until my k5 project is done then I plan on turning this into a full truggy then someday a buggy.

Here is kinda of what I'm planning.

Yep I plan on narrowing the front, linking the rear, moving the stock 56" springs up front, boatsides and about a 120" wb

That's the reason for keeping the Dodge, cause if I follow through with the plan there's no way it will be street legal.

Somebody truggied a CUCV a few years ago...exo'd it even.

Think they parted it and built a buggy IIRC.

Well if you need anything call me. Pretty much what I did except mine is still leafs in the rear

his name was m-1028 or m1028 out of sealy tx
it was the one with the bitchin exo and the star on the door. for a short while it was on steer rockwells and 4 inches of lift.

very nice so is your recent purchase going on this too?

I may have to never go wheeling with you I would love to have a diesel for the trail and wheeling with a similar rig may just push me over the edge

very nice so is your recent purchase going on this too? Yeah it's all for the CUCV!
