I wouldnt use rustoleum on something you want to stay nice. at least do a single stage auto paint so it doesnt oxidize so ungodly fast.

Expensive no doubt! For my $3,500 truck, I'm now at $11,000.......and no paint job yet!
I'll keep this truck forever too. Sentemental value so a decent paint job is important.![]()
Those are often far worse than they first appear. Dont get your hopes up

Believe me...... I ain't spending 4500.00 for this......now where'd I put that 10' pole?
it's kinda funny watching all the auto crowd get all gaga in recent yrs over a roll and tip job.. like it was sliced bread... we've been doing it on boats for 30+ yrs... air-dried paints can't hold a candle to a catalyzed resin... I freakin hate enamel, sh*t's so soft it ain't funny

Glad I'm not the only one in the same boat. Your figures are pretty close to mine.

It was originally $10k but we (wife and I) agreed to a new dash, inst. bezel and shocks. Brought it up to $11k.
Thanks Dave Ramsey!![]()
You are still only near a third of the cost of a new SUV and I bet it's paid for...
