1987 K5 gets a LQ4

Think you can get me a measurement of how wide those dirty dingo mounts are? I’m running the TNA crossmember and mounts, wondering if they would work with the DD. I’m wanting to push my motor a little further forward, got the TNA mounts maxed out.
They are a touch over 4” from ear to ear

Woah! Iron heads! Stick some 799 aluminum heads on that puppy :burnout:
Ha yeah maybe someday, just want to get this thing in and running for now. If i did that it would be a snowball effect and i would want to rebuild the lower end at the same time. Also after i get it running/driving then it will be time for suspension upgrades so i need to save my $ for that.

K been about a month, Have had lots of things going on the past few weeks. Been getting a few things done here and there on the blazer, got pretty much all of the wiring hooked up from the pcm to the blazer harness/bulkhead. Have the t-case torn apart for the input shaft, need to order he 32 spline yet. Still need to figure out where im going to mount the pcm/fuse box. Will probly go on the drivers inner fender with them. I also need to figure out my intake hose set up yet. I really want to retain the factory box, just need to find a spot to put it. Might go right behind the battery or maybe on the drivers side if i can clear the alternator. Anyone have any suggestions on that? Oh and i almost forgot i have some 34440B03-8C2F-4C9C-A00A-95DE7676B904.jpeg357BF606-A5B1-4640-8596-1CE44E52B908.jpeg72C981BF-F2EF-48FE-8061-F227B151B31B.jpeg
