For a suburban ? Mine are metal painted body color. With a center section that can be remove for service. Later had plastic trim the encircle the rear window and down the side @ 2"

Yeah I was trying to get as much of the metal covered as possible just for small sound absorption but doesn’t seem to be a thing these days.
So, it looks like the 465 was original? I wish my '94, 6.5 would've come with that. Which I do have a 465/205 combo i picked up to go in it one day. How many RPM's are you at around say 65 MPH?
