Just got the Blazer 2 wks ago and the alarm is drivin me crazy. It locks the doors by its self and now its not lettin me use the clickers part of the time.

Was wonderin if anyone has had the same type of prob and what they did to fix it. I dont know if it came with it or was added but if it was added who ever did it did a good job.

Thanks for any help

Check your battery cables or the battery in your 'clicker". If that does'nt solve your problem..... do as suggested above. Good luck.

I jus had an alarm installed that locks doors etc.

Look under the dash, look for any TAPLOCK T connectors up there, that is how most do it. They will have the T connector tied into the door locks. Once you find ONE wire, youll be able to trace it back to the "brain". They usually stuff it way up high under the dash. Almost to the top of the dash underneith. All ya gotta do is fine ONE wire and follow it back.

or you could just disconnect the solenoids in the doors and have manual locks. i cant seem to disable mine even though i have diconnected it form stuff and cut wires i can see. it still chirps evrey time i turn the truck off. and it sometimes still locks the pass door without even touching the clicker. i just live with it i guess.
