aaaaaaaaaaaaaand then right about that time, we were doing a weekend run up cleghorn, and the truck just STOPPED while i was poking along up a trail
got some winching in, and a tow strap to the pavement over the course of several hours to get rescued.
at this point a section of the rear floor was cut out to provide access to the top of the tank... the plastic sump/ baffle in the bottom of the gas tank broke off the bottom of the gas tank, and while it was banging around, it ripped the fuel pump of the sender assembly. the pump was still wired, and with the key on, it spun around in circles spraying gas inside the tank, but none of that gas went into the fuel lines. I was able to cut the baffle up and remove it from the tank in pieces,Reattach the fuel pump, patch the floor, aaand BAck in Business!
just found out that i posted the original fantastic cell phone video of me breaking down, on youtube! link is above , but i will attach it here as well. click on the "BS Breakdown"
possibly the most lackluster anticlimactic breakdown ever lol
