What are you going to do with it? Just clean it up and drive it?

That is my basic plan to start with. I am still working on a BSME and working full time and part of Formula SAE at school... so my free time is non-existent. :doah: I probably won't do much to it until July after Spring quarter and the first FSAE Comp in Nebraska is over. I haven't been wheeling in years, but I want a rig that can take me down moderate trails for camping and exploring in the summer.

My plans by the end of summer:
  • 4" lift springs front/4" shackle flip rear
  • Winch and winch cradle hidden under the stock bumper up front
  • Detroit in the rear
  • 37" Tires
  • Bed line the interior
  • Install decent stock interior (seats, door panels, dash pad)
  • Install ham radio gear, stereo, & CB (in order of importance :D)

Future mods planned:
  • Soft top
  • Roll cage
  • Crossover steering

Neat. I am kinda on formula. I mostly spend all my time studying for my bsme.

No. The FSAE West is held at the airport. On a very large patch of concrete in the air park.

Brought it home today. Spent $20 at the car wash while it was still on the trailer to take off most of the NW slime and pine needles.

Only one dent in the tub below the driver's side taillight. Then the passenger door has a crease from a gas station post. But I have another door already.

Picked up another piece this weekend. One guy handed it off to a friend in Spokane who was heading to the Portland PIR swap meet. He handed it off to a coworker of mine that wend down to the swap meet over the weekend. My coworker brought it into work for me today when he came back to work.

Pulled her up to the garage tonight. After my last final of the quarter on Thursday, I'm going to get as much done as can before fall quarter starts in four weeks.

I think I am going to tackle the paint next. I have a few gallons of miscellaneous paints that I have collected. I inherited a pvc pipe paint booth, air compressor, and painting supplies from my FIL closing down his shop and moving out of state. I'm mainly going to went to do a quick re-spray so it looks good from 20 feet away. But, I'm not sure if I have everything I need yet.

So I am assuming the seats were the reason for the 1400 mile trip?
