1989 Diesel Jimmy. What do we have here hmmmm

I started it and as soon as it smoothed out I thought wow I have missed that sound!
Where others might suspect a rod knock or a collapsed lifter, those of us who are initiated hear the sweet, soothing lullaby of the Ricardo Comet V.

Glad she’s back running.

Glad to see it runs! Just read your entire thread, it took some time! Keep the diesel and keep after it!

Ugh. Now I have 3 injector return lines leaking and it blew off the rear cap.

Gotta get new lines.

So all you diesel guys. Which lines and any reason I can't just run a line between the rear injectors?

I have a 10' roll of tygon line in my shopping cart on Amazon.

I don't wanna mess around with this.

Best solution?

Glad to see it going!

I just went with Leroy Diesel lines. Worked great.

He actually replied to one of my Facebook posts looks like I'll be getting them from him

Does this mean the snow wheeling didn't happen?

Unfortunately it did not. I left and all was good. 10 miles later I started smelling diesel, stopped and realized what was happening, turned around a went home. In 10 miles I used almost a 1/4 tank of fuel

Specially gen3+ power.

No. And when I say no I mean unless I find a D.I. 6.2.

That works to with a ZL1 power adder.

Much better than the IDI flavor

Leroy diesel sells good stuff. I've bought a 10' roll from eBay also. Always good to keep extra on hand. It wouldn't hurt anything to connect the rear most returns together.

I've found that unless Im using the truck a lot that the lines dry out and start weeping.
