It does. There’s a vsv that gets switched when it senses the AC turned on. That then powers a small plunger via a diaphragm that pushes on the throttle blade just a touch to bump the idle. However, it looks like mine isn’t working and the screw it pushes against is missing. I’ve found one forum thread where someone hacked a Corolla part to make it work but I need to do a bit more investigating to see what’s up.
Gotta say, been spoiled to the availability of old Chevy parts for so long that this hunting and hacking stuff sucks.
