1990 Blazer Daily Driver build..700 might be dying

So....how’s the noise?

Trying to piece together a seal kit for my burb and wondered how yours turned out?

I think this 700R4 might be dying.. Ugh. Been having a slight overheat issue and I think it's tied to the trans temps. It'll idle at operating temp and never get hot, but if you drive it it slowly creeps up. Good water flow, new T stat, new fan clutch. Yesterday I was going to drive it to work and second gear was not working as advertised. Going to check fluids and see if that helps, but its got 200k on it so I guess we will see.

Just hold it to the floor and drop it. Ends all the suspense

1st seemed to work normally. Second slipped. I turned around and parked it as I was heading to work.
I have lunched a few 700s. Hence my general hate for them.
Never known one to do that. Typically they start losing gears pretty quickly. But since I hate 700s I'm going to say it's not long for this world.
What does the trans fluid look like?

Me too, but I want to keep this one. I didn't mess with it at all today. The stripped down trail rig has all of my attention.
