1990 crew cab.. Tow rig?

My 8.1 would never stay in OD. It also had 3.73's and 285's. It desperately needed 4.10's, and that would have been a whole different animal.
This is why I went back to 265s. Want to swap in 4.10s or 4.56s.

I called chad, my gas sucking oil user made 280hp 380tq on a dream crusher mustang dyno though a Allison.

I miss Chad, I need to get the van done so I have an excuse to see him.
Also, that's pretty impressive torque.

I guess I do have an ISB 4 cylinder Cummins with a 6 speed Allison A1000 behind it in a breadvan. It'll pull a 12 valve around all day, and gets awesome mileage. Hmm..

Plans changed. Sold the 4bt out of the blazer, now I'm putting a Duramax and Allison in the crew cab. And a complete 2010 front clip.

Well that escalated quickly! That's about as ideal as it gets. Take time to take good pics and good info about the swap. It's a challenge to get that combo in a square, but has been proven to be doable before. Should be sick!

Hahaha I probably won't swap the front clip, I just wanted to see how excited everyone got!

Still won't start the swap until late fall probably, working too much and have about 25 vehicles I need to sell first

forgot about this pickup until a couple days ago, was bidding on a wrecked 08 duramax for the donor and then forgot about the auction, still keeping my eye out on copart. Been busy building my escalade rock crawler anyway. looks better with a front clip though.
