1991 k2500 build

lots of work!!

yeah it has been a fun but challanging at times build always seems like something dont work right or it has to be altered in some way or another but its always worth the amount of fun we usually have when we go out wheeling in the end!!

This is the next step in this process..

It should look alot like this rig, like to the T...

THat will be tits!

Yah that truss is pretty tits ehhh :haha:

Yah im stoked to start working on the link setup etc.

He bought the Ruffstuff 4 Link kit. Just showed up in the mail the other day.

Thinking hes gonna run Fox 2.5" Internal Bypass Coilovers. Then we can split a valve shim kit because it is basically the same shock that im putting in the blazer.

4-links are awesome. But a lot of design work and fine tuning. How much lift you planning on running and how bout the rear? Lift springs? Shackle flip? Take lots of pics. Looks real nice.

Craig just finishing putting his new miller 252 together that he picked up yesterday

So we got plenty of practice with it!

Here's the truss I designed and we burned together last night!

Crazy to think that the rear would get linked before the front would get SASed.

They are both getting linked. Rear seems easier to start with and get used to using the link calculator etc.

Axles

Well got a little more progress done on the front axle and got the old brackets cut off the rear diff. And ground smooth next step is to sandblast to get ready for truss to be built and installed.

Are you going to be running a fuel cell or try to reuse the stock tank? I'm trying to figure out what to do with my '95 because the stock tank is huuugggeeee lol

gas tank

Im going to get a TBI gas tank for a blazer or suburban because they are square and im going to remount the gas tank behind my rear axle where to spare tire used to be.

front mutt axle progress

Got the front axle all rebuilt and back together for the most part ended up being able to convert it from 5 lug to 6 lug just by changing out the 5 lug hub to the 6 lug Chevy hub cleaned up all the original lock out inner parts wire wheeled them everything works like brand new again has the orignal spicer lockouts I would say prolly factory from 1976

Nice progress!

Looking good!!!

It will be nice to see it up close and functional at the next dunes run....:waytogo:

Thanks taking me a lot longer then I would like but you know how that all goes hopefully will be getting a rear axle truss cut out soon similar to the front one by nate where he works then will hopefully be able t9 start the rear link process
