1991 v3500 - big dumb lifted forever truck

What did that dual gauge originally come in? Is it meant to measure boostans fuel pressure?

Just air only in its original intention but I dont plan on 150 psi lol
I have to learn how this works and then I have to learn how to make it read what I want. I think I want it to max out at 60 psi for both needles.

Looks like a 60.... fresh backed out. Cut short today, finish up on Saturday morning. Got to torque the ubolts and misc tidy up. Try to get an alignment soon.
I switched to 2.5" springs and a zero rate moved 1" forward. Ride is better. It has an ass load of caster now since I changed springs. Too much. I'll see what the laser alignment says. Pretty stoked.

That gauge is a dual bourdon tube gauge. Air pressure tries to straighten the brass bellows out, which has a gear connected to the needle indicating pressure.

Interesting, same type you see in pipeline and refinery stuff.

Never thought about the variations in application

So I got it aligned and I got the two C's a degree and a half different. 8.5 on right and 7 on the left. Eesh. If I knew what I know now I would have put tons of caster in the knuckles and rotated the diff housing up more. I also wish I had more precise measuring tools.

Camber: left is -.4° and right is -.1°.
Spec is +/- .8°

Overall it drives really well but I do want to bring the pinion up a little. The spring pads are leaned back and I'd like it to be flat. Again, I should have done that differently.
Hoping 4 degrees drives ok lol

I figure that my truck is ~ 5-6° positive caster, and it drives like a dream, even on 38's.

Give it a shot. 4 may be ok.

if it dont pull or wear tires then
