Think x-over steering and some extra cross-members/ bracing would “solve” some of it?
If you have the tires inflated more than needed, the steering becomes a little loose, I would try matching the pressure to the weight and see if it gets better.I don’t have bumpsteer so I don’t think crossover would help. It’s all new just an archaic design. Literally everything that steers from the steering wheel to the tires is under 20k miles. I think I am just experiencing that old truck charm.
Normal people would probably not perceive the “play” I guess.
I can tell the difference in tire pressure with these and I prefer to max em out even though I’m not maxed out on the load they are capable of. Preference is probably gonna get the best of me even though I know they’d be fine.
It’s still my first day. I’ve got to try all the variables to really dial it in.You might have some room to drop pressures. FWIW, after I got the front and rear weights on the crew cab, I did the math on the tires max PSI vs weight. Worked out to about 24psi front and 19psi rear. I add 4psi for margin. That's on 7700lbs total weight.
@obijuank5 ….waiting on video evidenceHere’s you notice and/or reminder…
Video of the Blazer wheeling.
Video of the crew cab doing anything.
Also, a post about how the crew cab works vs expectations.
This was always my dream/vision with my crew cab, Congratulations on reaching your goal!![]()
I know that was the plan, but plans and reality don’t always sync up.I hear you.A crew cab is pretty cool but since I have three kids I can see the appeal of a burb nowadays. Especially as they are growing larger by the day. I need a burb with an eight foot bed.
