1991 v3500 - big dumb lifted forever truck

Long weekend. Regular work pretty slow right now.
No time like the present.
It does feel like it’s gonna be another 106 degree day though. My goal today is to get the new steering box on and the drag link measured for welding.
Tomorrow, turn it around and start the rear. Have some family over. Finish the rest up Monday.

Kinda what I figured, but it's going to need one or the other lol.

Gonna need more lift or a sawzall I think lol.

Might be both. It’s not wide enough if I’m being honest. I’m gonna put some 1-1/2” spacers on it. So it’s definitely gonna rub. I was thinking of cutting some 1/4” spacers for body lift increments to dial it in. Probably start with 1/2” if I’m guessing.

Is texas tilt actually a thing?

Do you already have a zero-rate in your pack? That could help a little bit in front and (or just) rear to reduce cutting and help level if needed

I like the hub caps but it’s not too late for some 14” Barts. Just sayin….

Lol kinda. It’s a squat without the grindr membership.
I do have a zero rate in there already.
It’s 8” springs, zero rate, and a 1” body lift.
You’re exactly right about the cap and spacers. Enter, 77 np203 hubcaps. No cone but the large bore. It’s not perfect but it’s close enough where it’ll ride.
