You want any detailed specific pics of either of your kits?

I have to go to work tomorrow for a week. Next weekend I'll do the cross member and get shocks on it. Then I'm hoping to get it out to a buddies house and build some sliders/bumpers.

Any pics of the kits you want to take i'd appreciate but was thinking more views of your rig.

Front on shots, rear shots some quarters. Something to show some stance and tire stick out.

here's another project i hope to do 1 day, i want to do this to my 96 tahoe, i already have a 1979 f350 4x4 truck to rob front axle from, but my ford is a srw reg cab & ive heard they made less than 500 srw reg cab 1ton's even fewer were 4x4's so im kinda torn on tearing that truck apart just for the front axle...

I can't remember if it was here or another forum, but somebody mentioned that my tie rod end looked a little far out. Just wanted to show how long they are.

T-case is in. Drive shafts going in. Gotta build my new cross member. And get the y pipe to clear then it'll be driveable.

Shackle angle looks perfect.

Thank you sir. As per our PM, i ordered a clocking ring. I think that will work way better then a new cross member.

Work is about to get busy. I leave the 22nd for an 8 week hitch. Its a long time, but itll be Just over 20,000$

I make almost all of my money december-may. Then live off my salary all year and use most of my bonus as play moneys. Im VERY excited things are picking up again.

I go home again tomorrow from the shop. So ill get some better pictures for you guys and hopefully get some poser shots

Little update. I needed to move it. Pushing it around wasnt working with 8+ inches of snow on the ground. My shock mounts and clocking ring should be here this week. For now, i installed the rear shaft and left in 2wd. Tomorrow ill adress the floor and do some interior work on it.

I drove it today for the first time ever. I only drove it onto and off of a trailer before i did all this work.

Heres a short video and some pictures.

Any body have any ideas on front/rear bumpers?

I wanna run a Warm 16.5 up font. I broke the case on my warn 12k powerplant on the blazer, so i think its to small for a rig this big.

Sliders? I feel like just tied to the frame is to much leverage. No? I need some because i have a coolant line that runs down the side of the rig for rear heat. Plus, the body is fairly good and i dont want to push the floor boards up.

Im still at work and its blowin about 65. No visibility so im just sitting in camp today. Should be home beginning-mid Feb and finish this thing.

ARB front bumpers look pretty good on these. Check out Russell's Tahoe (another IFS to SAS).

Work has been slow on the burb. Im at work and have had 6 days home since December 30th. I got a bunch of goodies done. I got some 13" shock hoops, limiting straps for the front, stainless brakelines, and 4 14" travel shocks. Ill need pics when i get home.

The more i look at the front of the rig, the more i like the basic front end, however that factory crossmember has to go. I feel like i cut a corner leaving it there. Its not in the way of anything, just a major eye sore in my opinion.

When i get home i need to first and foremost I need to get my rear drive shaft lengthened. Going to pull the front tires back off and completely clean the frame. Theres still remnants of the old ifs stuff.

What would you fellas recommend for a winch? I stated earlier i wanted to run a 16.5, but its massive, and expensive. I was thinking a good 12 and a snatch block would go a long ways.

I have decided im going to build bumpers and sliders. Probably no tube action, but ill see what i can do. Sorry for the ramble and no pics. Im just excited to be so close.

Oh, and the transmission shifts.

You need trac bar too

But I'd be willing to do that here if ya get all the parts... :D

Talk to KellyJohn on here, he has made some killer looking bumpers.
