1998 2wd to 4wd, CCLB SAS

No haven't messed with the steering just yet. Been working on the rear drive shaft lately. Had to drop the carrier bearing a little more, and was trying to save a few bucks and balance it myself. I have gotten pretty close but think I'm about to throw in the towel and take it in this week sometime.

This is my favorite body Chevy. My dad had a 98 cclb 4wd with the 6.5. Black exterior. I loved that truck. I'm trying to convince the wife to let me sell the 14 so I can buy one. Truck looks awesome man.

So played around with the go pro a bit, was curious how the front axle moves on the road. Have seen signs of the shackles moving a bit and rubbing on the frame, figured it was mostly in cornering, but there's lots of movement with every bump. Time for better bushings. Noticed a bit of axle wrap in braking also.

Getting our social distancing on. Took the bowties, kids and dogs to the lake today. Usually this beach is full of house boats, but since our lake is currently closed to boats we had it all to ourselves.
