1998 2wd to 4wd, CCLB SAS

Not yet. Oldest kid is turning 8 this week so been planning a party for him. Hopefully in the next week or two can order the material then all that's left is build my hangers, flip brackets and steering linkages and can get to cutting and installing :)

Well project is getting delayed a bit now. Buying a business up in page az, about 6 hours from where I live now, so that's taking all my extra time and money right now. I'm gaining some tools in the deal though to do I'll be able to make a nicer swap anyway. Once the business is running smoothly and I can schedule in some free time I'll get my swap done. Will continue posting updates as they happen, hopefully things go smooth and I can swap soon :)

Still in the transitional phase, current owner will be out by the 25th this month. Going smoothly so far though. Can't wait to get back to my swap

I am itching to get back to my swap, shop has been so busy I haven't really had time for anything else yet. I do just about have the material together for my brackets and such just haven't had the time yet. So ready to be able to work on my stuff again lol

Wasn't aware there was a Facebook group? Where was that? I'm itching to start on my swap, still haven't had any time to build my brackets, have the material just need the time.

Finally got a little bit of time this morning. Got the front cross member/ spring hanger done. Rear shackle flip brackets are close to just waiting on the metal yard to brake the actual hangers for me then those will be ready to. Then just some shackles for the front and some DOM for steering linkages and it's ready to go in the truck.

Also, are you sure those are 2" lift springs? My 4" lift springs look like they have the same arch to them.

Maybe mine sag now and I don't know it.

Ya, they are ez ride so they are a little softer. Probably just start with more arch because they squish more

Made some more progress today. Got the front cross member cut into the frame rails. Little more trimming and some gussets and its ready. Got material to finish shackle hangers and shackle flip, try to wrap them up in the mourning.

Mocked up hubs and wheels to check clearance. Minor interference been drag link end and tire, ordered some 1/4 wheel spacers to fix that. Ordered shackles, new brakes, exhaust bend to get clearance for passenger side shackle, and picked up some DOM for steering linkages. Tie rod just clears diff cover without a bend in the tie rod. Then got everything cleaned up and painted. Excited to see some progress finally.
