I changed intake gaskets and when I put back together I checked the diag screen.
on the diagnostic screen says injector 8 red , called and asked is the number 8 injector the number 8 cylinder and his answer is "I don't know, probably"

I have one coming from summit . hope this fixes it . cant get an injector locally. going to change fuel filter. to be safe.

You don't need an edelbrock injector for that. According to the reading I've done anyways. I have 2 early proflo unit, a sbc and a bbc and I also have the unit they made to convert tbi to multiport.
Still trying to accomplish the boyish dreams I had as an old man...

It has to number the injectors to correspond with the engine cylinders, otherwise the firing order is not going to follow.
Was it working fine before?
I wonder if a tiny piece of something got into the fuel line when you had it apart.
It would suck if something that you probably can't see goofed it up.

Got a part # on that injector for reference? I am running ProFlo4 and was wondering about replacement parts.

and no info out on what other injectors you can use beside edelbocks
have looked but no definite answers

Why not swap 2 injectors to see if the problem follows? Could be wiring or an ECM issue.

I bet someone can tell you what the real part number is from Bosch, Delphi or the like. There's some chance somebody is making a custom part number for Edelbrock, but almost no chance they are manufacturing their own. Even the connector on it might tell you something.

have not got the o-rings in yet, dont want system open with no way to put back together if one of em is torn
had that with fitech and had to go to orielys and get em

and it had an miss fire sometimes but would clear itself. just happen to look at diag screen and seen injector 8 red. that's why I am getting a fuel filter and changing it, going to try and clean it but want a spare injector.
wish I could afford all 8 but at 90 bucks a piece that wont happen soon.

You have to verify what injectors you have. I don't remember for sure, but I believe that there are colored band that translate to the different lb/hr injectors.

I didn't realize that was a pico injector.
Those are made for Edelbrock by Magnetti Marrlli.
That's what's on my tbi conversion unit, although mine are 21lb units.
They (yours) are high impedence injectors, 29 lbs/hr.
Summit has them at $75.

On the side of the plug there should be an "iwp xxx" printed on it. Xxx being a number. Mine is 006.
Look up "magnetti marelli iwp xxx" you should find your injector.
These are used by ducati, harley, and other manufacturers.

^^

6872xtc is right

, part number I shared is for the 450 horse system and is the

29lbs/hour @ 45 psi

it is what edelbrock says I have in my system

Yes the 35# injector has a green band. I was also told these are Delphi injectors on the 4 series PF systems.

I do know that the injector o rings are the same spec as the L29. Cometec sells them as an 8 pack at Oreillys
Believe I posted the part number in my Camaro thread

They're obsolete now. I bought mine new in '05
Still have the complete kit lol
Edelbrock 3505, vortec version.

Yep, I’ve got the IWP069 (yellow band) in my boat. Jim at injector repair (recommended by @ryoken)was able to clean and flow test them for pennys compared to new, so don’t toss the one you take out. He also advised to only apply pressure to the metal body when removing them, not anywhere around the connector or clip, as they can get loose.

My injectors are green. Its the 454 system for lower horsepower. (Up to 450hp I think)
What color are the #3583 29lb/hr ones?
