Sprayed the first coat of liner yesterday. Have of few areas that are light, but should cover fine with a second coat tomorrow. Definitely orange.

Finished applying the second coat, and spraying the small items. Ash tray, glove box door, trans tunnel, etc. Set the body back on the frame yesterday and bolted the body down with new mounts. Everything
lined up nicely.

Thanks Guys. Not at lot going on right now, busy with pool season and wrecking the Toyota(work truck) didn't help. I've have a couple hours in the morning before work to work on little things. Going back thru the motor ensuring everything is clean. Verified the cam timing was correct.
Ran the cam in today. Motor fired right up and ran for thirty minutes, no leaks, no rods on the floor. I'll try to make a video soon . Cam sounds good!

Thanks guys! I was hoping it wasn't too boring. It's pretty basic information(stuff we learned in High School Auto Shop Class). One thing I forgot to mention was the power steering pump and gear box
were filled and bled. I used a 3/8 allen socket on a cordless drill to spin the pump and cycle the steering box to remove all the air.
Here is the view I was trying to get on the magnetic pick-up alignment. This is with the crank at 10 degrees before TDC.
Finished rebuilding the transmission this week. All new steels, frictions, bushings, thrust washers, and seals. Special thanks to Greg Ducato and crew for refreshing my old Neil Chance torque converter(I guess it was pretty grungy inside), replacing the stator bushings, and advising me on the correct clearances for the clutch packs and input shaft end play. Very Professional Service!
When I rebuilt the steering column, I removed the three on the tree guts, so now the neutral safety switch and back-up light switch on the shifter and gear selector shaft.

09/11/2020 Update Front Wheel drive
So over the last month, we installed the transmission and transfer case, and rebuilt the front drive shaft. The stock rear drive shaft is to short due to the lift. I'm going to wait until we're close to actual
ride height before ordering a new rear shaft. After we ran the motor with transmission in low and transfer case in 4 high(see video), we pulled the body back off, hopefully for the last time to clean up
the underside and spray with black Raptor liner. There wasn't enough time back in April to finish the underside since our business season was in full bloom. At the start of the video when Dede hits the
starter, you can actually see the battery cables jump when the current flows thru them.
Starting to clean up the underside. It was already cleaned with Dustless Blasting, just needs a little cleanup and blending.
Here is the video we recorded on Sunday. I have to credit to my good friend Michael for editing our videos.
