Hello from Spokane. I see you're just over in Couer d'Alene.
I'm in the process of putting 2.5 ton Rockwells under a Crew Cab, with an excessive amount of lift. Kind of hate doing it as tall as it sits now, but it's strictly a mud bogger truck only, and is just meant to be big and tall and go through the mud. Not sure how it's going to turn out, but as the front sits it clears 54" Boggers no problem. For an all around rig would definitely like to be lower though.
Here's some local rigs I know of running 2.5 Ton Rockwells. Have you ever been to the Moyie Mud Bog in N. Idaho before? These trucks are up there every year.
Here's what I got my tires from; was built on a K5 frame and a 4-link setup.
